We need a clean Earth, we need a green Earth,
With windmills whirling, sun-panels gleaming,
From the power of sunshine, and the oceans’ streaming,
Let’s make an Earth that’s clean and green!

This Earth is your Earth, this Earth is my Earth,
From melting ice-caps, to the oceans rising,
From the spreading deserts, to the shrinking forests,
Let’s make an Earth that’s clean and green!

As I go driving that endless highway,
I know gas-guzzling has become my way;
But we can change that, and then sustain that –
Let’s make an Earth that’s clean and green!

I roamed and rambled, and followed my footsteps,
To the highest heights of Her mighty mountains,
I heard a Voice there that hailed all Nations –
This Earth was made for us to share!

This Earth is your Earth, this Earth is my Earth,
We’re free to use it, but not abuse it;
To consecrate it, not desecrate it –
This Earth was made for us to share!
